The Deutsche Bank has announced that it will open a new casino in Las Vegas by mid-December. It has been announced that the venue will be one of the most expensive casinos in the history of the city and luxury and gaming will converge in it. The slogan of the venue is “Just the Right Amount of Wrong” and it will have 3,000 beds.

The Deutsche Bank is not so comfortable with the casino idea or so it seems because the German financer does not want to make comments on the investment in the Las Vegas casino. The truth behind it is that the bank did not take the first step but it was developer Ian Bruce Eichner who convinced the financer to put $1 billion in the venture.

No signs of a world financial crisis were on the horizon when the casino investment was made, but after it happened Eichner was not able to meet his loan payments. As a result, a forced sale was necessary. The Deutsche Bank decided to take the casino in its hands and gave it the financial support it required.

The new casino will feature 1,474 slot machines and 83 gambling tables. However, we still do not know if the bank will be able to recover the investment it made. Casino players have less money to spend on bets due to the financial crisis and they will probably bet in a casino near home instead of travelling to Las Vegas.
